Float Plane: Touch down anywhere in the waters surrounding picturesque Ucluelet just 20 minutes after leaving Port Alberni, 45 minutes from Vancouver, or 1 hour from Seattle. The pleasant and near-by village of Tofino offers a well maintained landing runway for wheeled aircraft.

Driving: Ucluelet is accessible by road on Vancouver Island along Highway 4 west from Port Alberni . The trip through the Island Mountain Chain is breath-taking and travellers are advised to bring extra film. A picnic lunch is often advisable for those who might wish to stop and enjoy the sights along the way. Ferry's are available to Vancouver Island landing at Victoria , Nanaimo , Comox, and Port Hardy.

Alberni Ferry: Enjoy a four hour mini-cruise from Port Alberni aboard the M.V. Lady Rose, a coastal freighter and passenger ferry that runs between Port Alberni and Ucluelet with several scenic stops enroute. Please note the M.V. Lady Rose does not accommodate vehicle traffic.
